This was an amazing visual project to be a part of. Joanna Andrea, founder of Wandering Wellness, and I explored how a delicate gesture can be a stimulating and inspiring practice for health and wellness. Traditionally used in meditation to connect to mind, body and our natural surroundings, mudras are a symbolic gesture and spiritual practice in Hinduism and Buddhism meant to stimulate different parts of the body and mind. Some mudras involve the entire body but most are performed with the hands and fingers. They create a connection to our inner most selves that is both transforming and deeply beautiful to experience.
